Leland Holder is an Atlanta based photographer specializing in corporate and portrait photography. He was born and raised in South Florida. He migrated to the west coast where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in journalism/photography from California State University in 1985. In 1984 Leland won the California State Pictures of the Year competition for his photojournalism portfolio.

 

Leland spent most of the decade of the 80’s as a full-time staff news photographer. Early in his career, Leland became a staff photographer for the Claremont Courier, a small community paper in Southern California nationally known for its use of graphics and photography. Leland’s photojournalism career culminated with a one year contract at the Los Angeles Times. He also worked as a staff photographer for 2 years at the Orange County Register. In the fall of 1989 Leland launched his freelance corporate photography career.

Currently, Leland works as a freelance corporate and portrait photographer. He uses his extensive background in photojournalism, on location lighting and portraiture to bring value to the business community through the medium of annual reports, brochures, website photography and executive portraiture.
